 Hello again!

I have been staying at my grandson Darren's home in Portland, OR, and with his wonderful housemate and partner. Yesterday was a visit to a beautiful Chinese garden/museum with beautiful scenes and art and a brush painter demonstration and special garden music. I will enclose pictures if my grandson can put them into my blog post.

I feel so grateful and blessed to have such a wonderful family and successful travel. More later as I now  go to see Darren's workplace.

So good to have phone conversations with some of you. Until later.....

 Dear Voyage Followers, I am home in Florida and 3/4 unpacked and resettled, so I guess it is time to end this segment of my life's voyage; Coming home has it's challenges, but it is working, inch by inch. In some ways it is good to be back--in other ways, sad. I shall miss the journey, the friends old and new, and getting to know my relatives better. As beautiful and as wonderful this country is, the most special part of my trip was the personal connections, and the memories of each one. I can't really explain what was so special about the voyage, or why I am missing it so much. Back home, I am enjoying reconnecting with my friends here, (and all my doctors and other practitioners). I am healthy though often light-headed. I think I need structure--too much "nothing" in my life. I love reading and tending my little garden, but once I am settled I will need more.  At last I can write more--It has been a very long time!  I am now at Mackensie Bridge Oregon attending a Village Harmony singing camp for a week. The last week I spent in a campground near by, with trees over 100 feet tall--maybe even 150, since I paced one and got to where the tree had fallen across a road and was cut short at over 100 feet. It had the Mackensie river running through it, with most campers carrying kayaks and rafts--no one invited me to join them! I have realized that campgrounds are the most difficult because almost everyone is part of a couple, a family or close friends, so I miss my community more. When I drive or sleep in my car I do not feel so alone. Now I have many new friends, and received an offer to go to Washington State and have a free place to stay--maybe I will! The Pacific Ocean was beautiful, but cold for me, so I did not stay too long. I loved Crater Lake, where I took the trolley tour--a very good way to see it without driving!!! Then I had ...
